Positive: We really enjoyed the property’s facilities — especially the swimming pool, gas BBQ, washing machine, and dishwasher, which made our stay more comfortable. The host was very friendly and genuinely tried to be helpful. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats (two beers and some sweets), which was a lovely gesture. Finally, being able to check in early after our morning flight to Corsica was a big plus and made our arrival much easier.

Negative: Our stay had several drawbacks that unfortunately impacted our overall experience: • Cleanliness: The initial cleaning could have been much better (spider webs, dust, etc.). For a 7-night stay, at least 1–2 serviced cleans and basic garbage collection would have been appreciated. • Comfort: The bedroom mattress felt low quality and not supportive enough for a proper night’s sleep. • Host interaction: The host was overly intrusive for a holiday rental. Check-in involved a detailed inventory run-through of every facility (lasting nearly an hour), even though we had arrived exhausted after a very early flight and my wife & child fell asleep on the sofa during the check-in process. Similarly, at check-out (5:30 AM), the host insisted on doing a full inspection despite our request to complete this the evening before. • Facilities & maintenance: Pool maintenance was carried out in the middle of the morning, while we were using the pool — not before guest access. • No basic bathroom supplies were provided (soap, shower gel). When asked, the host suggested we use dish soap until we could shop ourselves. • A sauna was advertised in the listing but was not available during our stay. Overall, the property could benefit from higher standards of cleanliness, guest comfort, and respect for guest privacy. Some advertised facilities were not available, and the approach to hosting felt more controlling than welcoming.
