About four kilometers west of Ile Rousse, in northwestern Corsica, is the "Marine de Davia", a beautifully designed and well-kept private complex directly on the sea (with three bathing bays, sandy beach). It consists of around 200 spacious plots (each between 1,000 m² and 2,500 m² in size). The individually built houses essentially serve as a vacation home, e.g. T. but also as a main residence. There are extensive shopping opportunities in a great, large supermarket just before Ile Rousse and of course in Ile Rousse itself.
On the edge of the "Marine der Davia" is - directly on one of the three sandy beach bays - an approximately 1,500 m² hillside property with the cozy, private holiday duplex "La Tramontane" built in 1980. From here you have a fantastic view of the sea and the sandy beach, which is about 80 m away and can be reached directly from the property, as well as the hinterland with its snow-covered mountains in winter and spring.
Both houses (the other half of the house belongs to friends) are approximately 100 m² in size, two-storey, solidly built and each offer space for six people (three bedrooms). In terms of its equipment, our mainly privately used holiday home is considerably above the standard for a commercial holiday home in France. So here you can really enjoy yourself and spend a relaxing bathing, sun or hiking vacation.
The wonderful location on the water and the very personal holiday home character make your vacation here a real pleasure. By the way, you can moor your boat in the bay in front of our house on a (bring your own) buoy. There are also two tennis courts in the immediate vicinity of our holiday home.
Versatile shore excursions and hiking opportunities (mountains up to 2,700 m high, beautiful landscapes, wonderful forests etc.) also offer a varied addition to relaxing bathing and sunbathing holidays in Corsica, an island that combines sea, mountains and forests in a unique beauty , Even the "Balagne" - that is the name of the landscape in which our holiday home is located - offers a wide range of excursions. There are also excellent surfing opportunities in our bay and in other bays in the area.
In front of our house there is a double parking space (with sun protection pergola). A convenient access ramp leads to the house. On the entrance level are the living and dining area (with satellite television, radio / CD player and WiFi), the fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher) and a toilet. The size of the living / dining room is further expanded by the forward, covered seating area and another open terrace on the same level. From both terraces you have a wonderful view of the sea and the mountainous hinterland. Indoor fireplace, outdoor grill and comfortable garden furniture complement the extremely solid and tasteful furnishings. From this level there is an internal staircase to the sleeping area below as well as external stairs to the large garden terrace in front of the bedrooms and also to the sunny roof terrace above the kitchen.
The sleeping area is on the lower level, with exits from the rooms to the large garden terrace, from which you can walk straight down to the sea and the beach. Three double rooms (one of them a bunk bed) can accommodate six people. Two of the bedrooms are equipped with absolutely noiseless ceiling fans. Sufficient cupboard and shelf space are available in the hallway and in the rooms. In the bathroom (with two sinks and toilet) there is also a washing machine. You can take a shower in the separate shower room or under another shower in the outdoor area. The laundry as well as bath towels, swimsuits etc. can be dried on a large drying rack next to the house.
